@uor_student - Sept ‘22 - June ‘23
As a Student Life Content Creator, I was part of a close and dynamic team that was driven to create engaging, student-led digital content to enhance campus communication. Our main goal was to amplify student voices and promote key services through creative, on-brand storytelling.
My responsibilities included:
Creating / planning / editing weekly Instagram Reels and Stories to inform and engage the student community.
Promoting the me@reading app, which provides essential university information (e.g. timetables, campus maps, events).
Supporting on-campus activations by handing out giveaways (e.g. cupcakes, doughnuts) and collecting student feedback through informal interviews.
Assisted with informal on-campus interviews, either by filming or appearing on camera, to share student perspectives with full consent for all content shared.
This role strengthened my skills in social media strategy, content creation, and campaign promotion, while staying closely aligned with brand tone, accessibility, and student needs.

This doughnut pop-up stall was placed at the University’s main library during the busy exam period.
We wanted to gather student feedback about their mental well-being and whether they are aware of the support services available.
Also, if they have already downloaded our me@reading app, they are entitled to a free treat.
